History buffs, stop by Ash Fork to explore the historic buildings and Ash Fork Settlers' Cemetery. Established in 1911, the Cemetery is filled with old west grave sites marked by wooden crosses, etched sandstone, iron baby cribs. Mother Road enthusiasts will also enjoy the Ash Fork Route 66 Museum, housed in a 1926 Moenkopi sandstone building which was the Ash Fork Maintenance Camp #1 for Hwy 66 and SR 89. The Museum features model displays for Ash Fork's past, the town's first jail, and town memorabilia to admire.
